9th Annual Nampa Chamber of Commerce Ag Forum
Recently Valley Wide Cooperative had the distinct pleasure of serving as a Gold Sponsor and Panelist participant for the 9th Annual Nampa Chamber of Commerce Ag Forum. The event was held at the Idaho Center and brought in agribusinesses, farmers, and supporters from all over Canyon County, including several local FFA chapters.
During the event, the Caldwell-Nampa Agribusiness Committee awarded the Crookam Family as the Farm Family of the year. Kuna FFA Chapter Member presented a speech on “Preserving Farm ground and Alternative Farming,” and the highlight of the afternoon – the panel discussion on Agribusiness in Nampa. The panelists included:
- Jason Lowry from Amalgamated Sugar,
- Mathurin Loury from Materne North America
- Olivier DeLobbe from Lactalis American Group
- Dave Holtom and Brian Gunnell from Valley Wide Cooperative.
During the event, we also participated in the vendor fair. Team members from our Energy, Agronomy and Feed divisions educated fair attendees.
