Advocating on Capitol Hill
This month, Valley Ag General Manager Richard Lloyd spent time in Washington, D.C., with the Agricultural Retailers Association advocating for the industry and Valley Wide/Valley Ag.
He met with Representatives and Senators from Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, including Representative Dan Newhouse from Washington District 4. Representative Newhouse was previously a longtime Bleyhl Co-op member and is now a member of Valley Wide Cooperative. Richard invited him to visit our Grandview store when he is back in Washington State.
As an agricultural organization, we have an obligation to advocate on behalf of our industry and the farmers we serve.
