Don Taber Inducted to the Idaho Co-op Hall of Fame
This week at the Northwest Regional Cooperative Council Annual Meeting, long-time Valley Wide Board Member Don Taber was inducted into the Idaho Co-op Hall of Fame for his many years of service to farmers’ cooperatives. Recently Don announced his retirement from the Valley Wide Board of Directors after 30 years of service.
Don joined the board in 1991, shortly after Idaho Grange Co-op merged with Wendell Grange Supply to create Valley Co-op. Don has also served as a director for Genex, another farmer-owned cooperative. Don, his wife Bev and their sons operate a dairy farm in Shoshone, Idaho. He has spent many years living and telling the co-op story, and we are proud of his work on behalf of Valley Wide.
His fellow Board Member, Jim McCall made the presentation.
Congratulations Don on a job well done and a life well lived.
