Salmon, Idaho – Valley Wide Cooperative and Land O’ Lakes donate a total of $2000 to the Salmon School Garden Project. The money will go towards developing a school-based garden and corresponding Farm-to-School program that will be fully integrated into the Salmon School District’s long-term learning environment. This program aims to teach students the art and science of growing and preparing nutritious foods as well as the importance of sustainable agriculture.
