Valley Wide Cooperative Makes It Rain
Fairfield, Idaho – Valley Wide Cooperative, Valley Agronomics with matching funds from Land O’ Lakes donated a total of $10,000 to the Wood River Resource Conservation & Development. The Wood River RC & D program helps people care for natural resources and improve the quality of life in their communities. The donation will be used to help fund the operation of cloud seeders, both in the air and on the ground. Cloud seeders are extremely important to the success of agriculture and communities by helping to provide precipitation to clouds that in turn will create rain in agricultural and water storage areas. This particular project will help the Wood River and Camus Creek, which will ultimately flow to the Magic Reservoir. The Wood River RC & D Treasurer, Terry Aruby stated after the donation “We greatly appreciate the donation from Valley Wide Coop, it will go a long way to help in our efforts.”
