Valley Wide Cooperative Gives Generous Donation to Elk Bend Fire Department
Salmon, Idaho – Valley Wide Cooperative, donated a fuel truck to the Elk Bend Fire Department. The truck has a 2000 gallon tank capacity, which will be used as a back-up water supply for them for fire suppression and to better protect the fire district and surrounding area. It will be turned into a Tender to replace one that is out of service. The local fire departments serve a major purpose in those areas to keep people safe. Like the Elk bend fire department, there are many volunteer fire fighters that need the right equipment in order to provide a safe area.
Individuals left to right:
Alvin Bailey (Elk Bend Fire Commissioner), Jaine Bruffett (Elk Bend Fire Commissioner), Brian Ford (Elk Bend Fire Chief), Dan Spaulding (Rexburg Valley Wide Cooperative Fuel & Lubes), Jason Pollard (Director of Marketing Valley Wide Cooperative), Kathy Bailey (Elk Bend Fire Treasurer Secretary)
