Valley Wide Cooperative Gives Donation toward Boy Scout Eagle Project

Jerome, Idaho – Valley Wide Cooperative and Valley Agronomics LLC, donated 28 bicycle helmets to Boy Scout Troop 75 to help with Donald Bunn’s Eagle Scout project in Wendell, Idaho. The helmets will be used to help complete the eagle project. Troop 75 will be holding a bicycle safety rodeo which entails four or five stations about bicycle safety. The helmets will be given at the first station. Children will be fitted with the appropriate size helmet and shown how to adjust the straps to fit properly. Then they continue to the rodeo course of learning hand signals, how to yield to traffic, mastering riding in a lane, balance skills, and how to properly walk a bike. The event will take place Saturday, August 27 from 10am-12pm in the LDS church parking lot. “Valley Wide Cooperative understands the importance of helping the youth become self-reliant and learn life skills that will serve them throughout their life. As we continue to support the BSA programs, we are supporting our communities and furthering the skills of future generations who will then become leaders in those different societies” stated Valley Wide Marketing Director Jason Pollard.
