RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
A person in this position is responsible for developing and executing all social media engagement strategies using current best practices. This position will create and continually improve local pages for all locations online pages on over 40 platforms. The Digital Marketing Specialist will consistently audit and optimize organic search. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 

  • Experience segmenting customer lists and mapping the customer journey
  • Assist Event Manager on events as needed
  • Occasional design work
  • Writing:
  • Increase user conversions by writing high quality, compelling copy for PPC ads, webpages, blog posts, collateral, social media posts, press releases on occasion.
  • Copy writing for Broadcast (radio spots)
  • Copy editing marketing materials across the board
  • Marketing Campaigns:
  • Manage ad campaigns across several platforms, including social media, search, and display ad networks
  • Test and analyze data to optimize ad creative, timing, frequency, duration of campaigns
  • Social Media:
  • Demonstrated a deep understanding of cross-promoting digital assets
  • Create social media campaigns and managed profiles for over 15 unique brands on all major networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • SEM/SEO:
  • Strong understanding of all search engine algorithms, keyword ranking, review management, optimization, and other tactics to increase organic SEO
  • Analyze data to adjust campaign keyword/phrases to make recommendations for adjusting display ad creatives
  • Design/Web Development/E-Campaigns:
  • Design on-page images and social media photos using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Assist in improving customer flow through website by optimizing content for usability and adjusting page order/structure
  • Launch and manage all e-blast campaigns and drip campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in English or marketing or equivalent web design experience
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • 4+ years of experience with SEO/SEM; Formal training or certification for SEM
  • Strong in website management within Kentico with an understanding of backend platform integration (Yoast, CRM, email systems, other plug-ins as needed)
  • Experience with Adobe CC products; Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, or some other graphic design and/or image editing software
  • Google Adwords Certified with ability to interpret analytical data and make recommendations
  • Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Bing Ads, and social media ad dashboards
Facebook analytics, and other social media platforms
  • Metrics-focused with ability to consistently communicate results
  • Digital lead generation expert
  • Strong time management and exceptional follow through
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with text marketing preferred
  • CRM management experience preferred
 
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
This is a part time, 20+ hours per week position, typically Monday - Friday. Qualified applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed, especially during times of high seasonal demand.
