Since 1920 we have been helping farmers and ranchers build their homes and businesses. Following founding traditions of honesty and caring for others, Valley Wide Cooperative is motivated by service. We provide needed and high quality goods and services at affordable prices in a socially responsible and ethical manner. Valley Wide Cooperative has 96 years of rich & prosperous history.  Throughout the years, Valley Wide has grown into what it is today thanks to all of the different mergers and acquisitions that have happened over the course of the years.

Buhl Coop is Formed

Wendell Grange Coop is formed

January 1, 1934

Preston Feed Milling was turned into Franklin County Grain Growers

January 1, 1937

Minidoka Co-op Supply Inc was formed

January 1, 1938

Menan Cooperative formed

January 1, 1942

Madison Coop is created

March 1, 1947

The Mini-Cassia Marketing Co-op is formed

January 1, 1953

Nyssa Cooperative is formed

January 2, 1960

Producer Supply Coop was formed started with 5 board members in Nampa, Idaho

February 1, 1960

Idaho Grange Supply Coop was formed  out of Shoshone Idaho

March 1, 1960

Wendell Grange Coop and Jerome Grange Coop begin talking about working together on new ventures later to merge into Wendell Grange Coop

January 1, 1963

Idaho Grange Coop was formed into a cooperative

February 1, 1963

Valley Grain is established in Arco : specialized in Grain, Seed, and fertilizer, started out as an old grain elevator 

January 1, 1965

Arco Feed and Supply is created

July 1, 1966

United Co-op was created in part due to the merger of Minidoka Co-op and Mini Cassia Marketing Coop

January 2, 1970

Gooding Grange Coop merges with Idaho Grange Coop

January 1, 1974

Buhl Coop merged with Idaho Grange Coop

January 1, 1975

The Agronomy plant located in Paul was purchased from Cenex and became part of the United Co-op

January 1, 1975

United Co-op purchased bulk plant, farm store, automotive center, and tire shop

January 2, 1985

Buhl Coop merges with Idaho Grange Coop to continue as Idaho Grange Coop

January 1, 1987

Cominco sold out to Kiaser Aztec

January 1, 1991

Idaho Grange Co-op & Wendell Grange supply were merged to create Valley Co-ops inc.

January 1, 1993

Kiaser sold out to Cenex

January 1, 1996

United Co-op purchased Uscola Oil Company

January 1, 1997

United Co-op remodled the farm store facility adding the fuel islands and more retail options

January 1, 1998

Merger between Menan Coop and Madison Coop to create Valley Wide Cooperative

United Co-op purchased US Steel/ Intermountain Farmers agronomy plant

November 1, 1998

Valley Country Store completes construction of the Shoshone C-Store

Agronomy in Ashton Idaho began

Acquisition of 4 Cenex Land O' Lakes Ag company facilities
