RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
We currently have a Store Lead position based out of our Bellevue and Menan, ID locations available. A person in this position acts as a leader in the store and is a critical member of the store team. The Store Lead is expected to learn and possess the skills, knowledge, and ability to handle key carrier duties on a regular basis as a business needs dictate. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 

  • Supervise checkout stations on regular basis.
  • Utilize exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.
  • Assist with loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service.
  • Oversees employee productivity, breaks and daily scheduling. Communicates performance issues to management.
  • Act as “manager on duty” when necessary.
  • Responsible for training of new employees and helping manager identify training needs.
  • Ensure employees follow accounting policies, safety procedures and customer service standards.
  • Provide expertise in one or more areas or functions.
  • Maintain knowledge of all store departments and be able to perform all activities of employees in addition to handling more complex transactions or customer service situations.
  • Ability to handle problems that other employees cannot address.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience and two years of retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi task and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
  • Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees and vendors.
  • Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions- ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to properly handle money, give change and record multiple transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Must exhibit a professional and positive image.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years’ experience in similar retail position highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
 
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
This is a full time, 40+ hours per week position, varying shifts. Qualified applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed, especially during times of high seasonal demand.
