Job Summary

This is a full time, fully benefited position. Responds to all IS help desk inquiries.  Documents, logs, tracks, and monitors all requests for technology support.  Installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware and software.


Responsibilities

•    Respond to all help desk inquiries. (Telephone, e-mail, walk up).
•    Track, monitor, triage, process and close all service tickets.
•    Responsible for installing end-user devices, troubleshooting PC, printer and network connectivity issues, work request analysis and completion and technical assistance on projects.
•    Perform routine problem analysis and resolution providing recommendation of technical solutions to problems.
•    Provide timely, efficient, courteous support; completing documentation on assignments as required, and training/assisting employee and customers.
•    Installation of designated hardware, software, etc. that best meets the business and functional requirement of the cooperative.
•    Interaction with hardware vendors as required; research possible solutions to provide the most appropriate technical recommendation
•    Perform routine problem analysis and resolution providing recommendation of technical solutions to problems.


Successful Candidates Will Have  

•    1 to 2 years of Printer and PC Support Experience.
•    1 to 2 years of experience installing new PC’s and Printers.
•    Experience and/or training supporting: LAN environment with multiple platforms.
•    Understanding of network topologies.
•    1 to 3 years PC desktop software support experience.
•    Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain software applications and peripheral equipment.
•    Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for multiple users.
•    Must have strong communication skills; ability to communicate in appropriate, professional manner with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors and general public.
•    Must be able to make appropriate decisions and execute them according to policy.
•    Must have ability to determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
